1. Introduction
1.1 The promoter of this prize draw is Easy English Dublin (the “Promoter”)
1.2 To enter the prize draw entrants will be required to register their details with the Promoter. There will be one prize which is being supplied through Easy English Dublin.
1.3 By entering and participating in this competition participants are showing they agree to these Terms. All entry instructions and any other specific details relating to the competition or the prizes form part of these Terms.
2. Entry
2.1 To enter the prize draw entrants will be required to register their details with the Promoter
2.2 Entries will only be eligible from those who have completed the terms of the competition listed in the competition post
2.3 This competition is open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 and over, with the exception of employees and their immediate families of Easy English Dublin, its agents or anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion
2.5 The Prize Winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any matter arising out of or resulting from the enjoyment of the Prize. The Promoter shall have no liability to the Prize Winner in the event that the Prize Winners are unable to take up the prize
2.6 Easy English Dublin retains the right to disqualify any entrant to any competition which it considers has used inappropriate means to enter.
3. Prize
3.1 There will be one prize which is being supplied through Easy English Dublin.
3.2 The prize consists of 5 one to one lessons with Easy English Dublin.
3.3 There will be one prize winner (“Prize Winner”) who will be drawn from eligible entries in March 2021.
3.4 The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw or the terms and conditions of the prize draw, with no liability to any entrants, Prize Winner or any third party.
3.5 The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.
4. The Winner
4.1 Everyday Easy English will post a new word or a piece of grammar on its Facebook page, starting from the 1 of March.
As a participant of the challenge:
– you need to write at least one correct sentence every day, including the word of the day;
– you need to enter them in the comment under the post on the Easy English Facebook page, or take a photo and post it in the comment, any creativity is welcome;
– like a post with the word of the day;
– extra points for each posting on your Facebook wall.
4.2 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any matter arising out of or resulting from the enjoyment of the Prize. The Promoter shall have no liability to the Prize Winner in the event that the Prize Winners are unable to take up the prize.
4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner, should the Prize Winner not be in a position to take up the prize or has not responded to the public Facebook announcement of the competition winner to any contact made by Easy English Dublin.
4.4 If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after all reasonable efforts having been made by Easy English Dublin, Easy English Dublin may decide to give the prize to another entrant.
5. Exclusion of Liability
5.1 To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable to any entrant or prize winner for any loss or damage howsoever caused, whether direct, indirect or consequential (whether in contract, tort or statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with the prize draw and/or the Prize or the taking of the Prize.
6. Publicity
6.1 By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to take part in any associated publicity relating to the prize draw without further consent or payment, where required.
6.2 Contest entries and material submitted in connection with any contest (whether in written, audio, electronic or visual form, or any combination of those) or any photographs, video and/or film footage and/or audio recording taken of competitors become the property of Easy English Dublin, which may use the material in any medium and in any way it sees fit. Copyright in any such material remains the sole property of Easy English Dublin.
6.3 Easy English Dublin may publicise, broadcast or otherwise disclose a competitor’s name, character, likeness, statements or any recording of his or her voice in advertising or promotional activities concerning a specific contest, or Easy English Dublin contests generally. Easy English Dublin may promote or advertise that a winner has won a contest.
6.4 Easy English Dublin may include information from entrants in any contest in any database to be used for the purpose of its business. By entering a competition a contestant will automatically give permission for use of personal data and this information will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
This prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law. Any dispute arising out or in connection with this prize draw shall be dealt with exclusively by the courts of Ireland.
By entering the competition entrants are letting Easy English Dublin know they have read and understood the competition rules and agree to stick to them.
