Information about the Course:
Each lesson contains at least 40 minutes (x2) of speaking (question-answer work), a 5-minute period of reading and a 5-minute dictation. There is no silence in the lesson; students listen to English all the time. There is a lot of revision and some new work in each session. The teacher answers the questions along with the student and corrects their mistakes. The teacher speaks quickly so that students learn to understand English when it is spoken at a natural speed.
We teach English with the Callan Method. In the lessons we focus on speaking and listening practice. Students speak 4xMORE than in traditional lessons which means that students LEARN 4XTIMES FASTER!
In the course:
- the present continuous vs the present simple
- time, days of the week, months of the year;
- the same as ; different from;
- making questions with prepositions;
- possesive adjectives v possesive pronouns;
- comperatives and superlatives;
- past simple;
- a lot of useful vocabulary!
